Faith Formation

ADULTS and Young adults

Adult Catechist Formation

Share your faith with children of All Saints and help sow the seeds of the Gospel in today’s young people and learn more about your Catholic faith in the process. Maybe God is calling you to be a catechist. No experience is necessary. Training is provided. Two catechists (or more) team up to teach each class.

Alpha is an opportunity for young adults to explore their Christian faith in a friendly, open and relaxed environment. Each Sunday evening session has three key elements: food, a talk and discussion. We start with food, because it’s a great way to encourage community and get to know each other. The talks are designed to engage and inspire conversation. They explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity. Probably the most important part of Alpha is the chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic, and simply discuss it in a small group. It’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment.

For that purpose, this ministry sponsors events that proclaim the truths of our faith, offer opportunity for fellowship, and draw students deeper into a life of prayer, sacraments, and a relationship with Christ and His Church.
