Family Ministry

The All Saints Family Ministry was created in response to our baptismal call as parents to be the primary catechists for our children and to support both parents and children in the mission of growing closer to Christ throughout our lifelong journey as Catholics. Resources and information will be sent home to families to help build the domestic church. We gather monthly to celebrate families in our community through different opportunities of faith sharing and fellowship.

Newman Catholic Ministry at UTD

All Saints supports the Catholic students in their efforts to build up the Catholic campus community and to be the presence of Christ to all they encounter. For that purpose, this ministry sponsors events that proclaim the truths of our faith, offers opportunities for fellowship, and draws students deeper into a life of prayer, sacraments, and a relationship with Christ and His Church.

High School Youth Ministry

Being Catholic is more than being able to recite facts from a book — it is an encounter with a Person. This ministry allows youth in ninth through 12th grades to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ and His Holy Catholic Church through dynamic programming with other teens. Various ministry offerings throughout the year include retreats, service projects, and other opportunities for formation. Our weekly offerings include High School Bible Study, which meets on Wednesday evenings and focuses on the upcoming Sunday’s readings using a Lectio Divina model and discussion; and Illuminate Night on Sundays, in which we dive into topics of the faith using a combination of fellowship, praise and worship, games, guest speakers, engaging witness talks and small-group discussions. We are always looking for adult volunteers to support the teen activities and model the faith to young people.
