Finance Advisory Council

The council is a mandated body that has an advisory and consultative role with the Pastor of the parish (Code of Canon Law, 537). Its mission is to support the pastor in the stewardship of parish financial resources. The council is a key element for promoting the financial health of a parish, assuring accountability, and assisting the Pastor with his temporal responsibilities. While it does not have decision-making authority, consultation is at the heart of the decision-making process for the administration and stewardship of the temporal goods of the parish. The council is also accountable to the parish community and to the Bishop of Dallas. Members should demonstrate skills or expertise in management and finance.

Newcomers Welcome Committee

At All Saints, we wish to make every individual feel a sense of trust and comfort, and for each person to know that they truly belong. The committee strives to make newcomers, and inactive parishioners who are now coming back to the church, feel at home here at All Saints. Volunteers are needed to staff the Welcome Center after weekend Masses, to help with our bi-monthly Newcomers Breakfast, and to welcome every new family that registers.

Pastoral Advisory Council

The Pastoral Advisory Council is an appointed body to promote the spiritual growth of the parish community and plan ways for the parish life to carry out the mission of the church. It represents the interests and pastoral needs of the entire All Saints Catholic Community. “A pastoral council possesses a consultative vote only and is governed by norms established by the diocesan bishop.” (Code of Canon Law, 536, par. 2).
