2022 Summer Reading

Incoming 4th grade parents,

As you know, fostering a love of reading at a young age has so many benefits. With reading being the biggest indicator of academic success, we must foster that love year-round. At All Saints Catholic School, we want to do all that we can to encourage our students to read. This summer, students will have the opportunity to build their knowledge through the wonderful world of books!

This summer, students will choose three books to read in total, TWO from the lists below (one of the fiction books and one of the biography/autobiography books), and ONE free choice book. Honors students will need to choose one of the starred fiction books.
Students will be required to take AR tests on each book and pass with an 80% or better. If an 80% is not reached, they will need to read another book and take another AR test. All AR tests will need to be completed by July 30, 2022. Please spread this out throughout the summer, reading a book and taking a test every three weeks or so.
