Early Childhood Daily Schedule
Each school day begins with a prayer followed by opening activities. Class instruction is delivered in a variety of formats to meet the needs of each student. Weekly themes are designed for prekindergarten students to develop skills and build their content knowledge. Class experiences include gross and fine motor activities, exposure to math and science concepts, and a variety of opportunities to develop language, literacy, social, and emotional skills. Students also develop specific skills during their specials classes- STEAM Innovation Lab, Art, Library, Music, Spanish, Mandarin, and Physical Education.
In addition to daily faith formation, early childhood students participate in a traditional weekly Mass and a bi-monthly Prayer Service. Our interactive Prayer Services build community and are specifically geared to young, inquisitive minds.
Throughout the year, early childhood classes participate in school events, Christmas and spring performances,
Early Childhood students must be of age on or before September 1 and be fully toilet trained to attend All Saints.
Additional Programs
Kent & Jodi Foster STEAM Innovation Lab
In 2019, ASCS opened the state of the art Kent and Jodi Foster Innovation Lab. All students attend two classes per week in coding, robotics, 3D printing, graphic design, and engineering. This STEAM curriculum, coupled with our outstanding core and co-curricular classes, form the foundation for educating all aspects of the human person.
Art
In addition to crafts and art projects during the school day, your little saint will participate in a dedicated art class weekly.
Library
Pre-Reading Skills are an important part of your child’s academic success. We focus our weekly library time on developing these skills by reading fiction and nonfiction stories to students, teaching parts of a book, and introducing good reader skills such as previewing, predicting, summarizing, connecting, questioning and inferring.
Music
In the early childhood years, your child loves to sing songs and rhymes and uses them to memorize important information. We harness this natural interest in music and provide a weekly music class for our little singers.
Physical Education
Your little saint loves to play and learn through play. Your student will learn through play in the classroom and on the playground and have dedicated time for physical education in our gym.
Meet the Teachers
Technology
Technology is an ever-growing part of your child’s life, and our Early Childhood Program uses technology to aid in learning. Your child has access to iPads for educational games and videos, and teachers use projectors and document cameras to model motor skills.

Safety and Security
Your child’s safety and security are among our top priorities. All of our teachers and volunteers are background checked and cleared through the Catholic Diocese of Dallas. Additionally, we are a closed campus which means the outside doors are locked at all times, and every person must check in the front office before entering the school. Security cameras monitor every external door, hallways, and major gathering areas.
