Advent is a time waiting with anticipation, but we do not wait alone. We are woven into a tapestry of relationships that are not accidental. In these relationships we find our true selves, develop great life skills, and discover that God is already and always in our midst. We'll explore several biblical stories that remind us that we are not alone.
Please join the All Saints Moms Group for our 5th annual Advent Retreat! This year's retreat theme is: "God Among Us: the ties that bind."
We are honored to host Cackie Upchurch as our guest speaker. Hailing from Arkansas, Cackie has worked for 30 years as the Director of Little Rock Scripture Study, making her the first layperson and first woman to lead the ministry. Under her direction, Little Rock Scriptural Studies materials have been used in 52 countries. She has authored many books, including 4 volumes of the Alive in the Word series: Mary, Favored by God; Moses, Called and Equipped; Hospitality: Welcoming the Stranger and Christmas: Season of Wonder and Hope.
The day will also include time for:
