Volunteering

As Christians, we are called to serve the Body of Christ, our church community. Volunteers are an essential part of our thriving Church; staff alone cannot fulfill the needs of our faith community. The concept and need of volunteerism at All Saints is evident as all ministries are seeking help and hoping that parishioners will recognize God’s call to serve His people. If we offer ourselves, God will work through us. God will pour down His grace on His beloved children. God equips us with gifts and talents and uses us as instruments to love and serve His world. If we allow God the freedom to work though us, volunteering fulfills the needs of a ministry and enhances our inner faith! Prayerfully consider where God is calling you to serve and remember that “God doesn’t call the equipped; He equips the called.”

Faith Formation Volunteers

Volunteers are needed to teach the children and youth enrolled in Faith Formation Classes beginning in September. If you taught last year and wish to return but have not notified us, please give us a call this week. If you feel called to this ministry, please contact us at (972) 778-0328. There are various positions that we need to fill for each session time. We welcome the opportunity to visit with you about serving your parish community as a volunteer in the ministry of Faith Formation.

All volunteers must complete the parish safe environment training before working with the youth.

Please check the parish website at www.allsaintsdallas.org for forms and procedure for safe environment training or contact Kathy McDermott, Religious Education Director, at (972)-778-0328 or kmcdermott@allsaintsdallas.org.
